Children who require a diversity of support and assistance

Ignite Global Missions partners with Jesus Loves The Little Children, an organisation based in Kigumba, Uganda helping vulnerable children to be educated, healthy, confident and to know Jesus Christ as their saviour. Set up by Hugh Pilcher and his team in 2009, Jesus Loves The Little Children provides assistance to children through nutritious cooked food, bible teaching and basic psycho-social care, partners with a local church to select children for sponsorship at a nearby primary school and supports children with special care needs.

These initiatives have been extended to set up the Schools Programme for children who need sponsorship to attend school and the Children with Special Needs Programme for children who require a diversity of support and assistance. The ministry has expanded with parents bringing their children with special needs from outside the district.
